Personal Philosophy: Thinking about therapy can be a big step. In my practice, I make sure to follow your pace as we safely walk together towards where you want to go. If you don't know where you want to go next, I am here to help too! If the path is too rocky, I am here with you as well! I am not going to impose my own goals on you; I will aim to be there to support you in finding your way towards what wellness means for you.
I am neurodiversity affirming, meaning I do not wish to encourage changing parts of you that you enjoy, or work for you. If there is anything you find is not working or does not feel nice, then we can explore change together.
Further Training and Accreditation: I support folks through socially just versions of Person-Centered Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Somatic supports and Trauma support practices. I have training and experience supporting people who feel numb and distanced from the world or themselves. I am accredited by the (American) National Institute for the Clinical Application of Behavioral Medicine to support with dissociation. I have continued to further my education on Third and Fourth-Wave Cognitive-Behavioral models such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
